the windows of infinity: a poem
A poem:
Locked in a room where all the
Doors were sealed shut
By the fading imprints of dreary heartbreaks
I lost the key among the clouds
Floating in the caliginous space
An angry storm brew deep in
the chambers of my desolate soul
I gaze out the lonely window
a solitary rose grew between
the cracks of the dented walls
Its leaves danced in the breezing wind
Its thorns were pricked with guilt
Yet its flowers bore the petals of faith
as the cracked beige walls
echo the story of time
I caught a small spark of light
amidst the shady dark clouds
I lift the curtains of grief
To let the sunshine of hope seep through
the darkness swirling in my fragile heart
I stood aloof from memories as i let
life take me on a ride through moments
To find endless happiness i sought
Through gloomy windows
Hope settled itself on my shoulders
while i float through the timelines
I found love hiding in the shadowy corners
and betwixt the prickly thorns
maybe someday, love and greif
will be meeting again
Untill then I'll be gazing through the
windows of time
Maybe In another world, where
the roses stand smiling
And when the doors were open
maybe I'll just close the shutters
so i can feel myself just breathe again.
